Sunflower Hat trick metal print by Marguerite Chadwick-Juner. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Monet, Van Gogh and me. It was great experience to try to interpret their oil paintings (as reproduced in books) in watercolor. The photo here loses the subtleties of the whites in the book pages and also washes out the lower petals of the sunflower, but it was the best I could do. I may try with a different scanner to see if I can get better results.
About Marguerite Chadwick-Juner
Marguerite Chadwick-Juner is a native of City Island in the Bronx where she lived and worked until a recent move to North Carolina. She attended the High School of Art & Design in NYC and got her B.F.A. from Cooper Union, also in NYC. Her works are executed, for the most part, in either watercolors for their pure, luminescent coloror a unique multi-media technique utilizing acrylics, gel medium and artist's crayons for their rich, textural qualities. She has won competitive awards in both mediums and her works are in numerous private and corporate collections.
