Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

This piece was a commission for Compasslocker.com which is a company that sells tugboat related items. It was commissioned for a Christmas card design. They buy reproduction rights only, so I thought I'd make it part of my Painting a Day series. The only difference between this and the card is that I digitally added Christmas wreaths to the stern instead of the tires. Tugophiles can find more Christmas cards and prints by me on that site.
Marguerite Chadwick-Juner is a native of City Island in the Bronx where she lived and worked until a recent move to North Carolina. She attended the High School of Art & Design in NYC and got her B.F.A. from Cooper Union, also in NYC. Her works are executed, for the most part, in either watercolors for their pure, luminescent coloror a unique multi-media technique utilizing acrylics, gel medium and artist's crayons for their rich, textural qualities. She has won competitive awards in both mediums and her works are in numerous private and corporate collections.
