The beloved, 114 year-old City island Bridge is being dismantled as this is being uploaded. The iconic spires at the 4 corners of the top of the bridge are instantly recognizable to Islanders and those that frequent and love City Island in the Bronx. This is but one of my many painted tributes to the bridge I know so well.

Marguerite Chadwick-Juner is a native of City Island in the Bronx where she lived and worked until a recent move to North Carolina. She attended the High School of Art & Design in NYC and got her B.F.A. from Cooper Union, also in NYC. Her works are executed, for the most part, in either watercolors for their pure, luminescent coloror a unique multi-media technique utilizing acrylics, gel medium and artist's crayons for their rich, textural qualities. She has won competitive awards in both mediums and her works are in numerous private and corporate collections.
